Data Methodology
Velocity Intel Arbitrage Terminal is not a blog. It is an autonomous intelligence terminal designed to map the delta between emerging interest and mainstream availability.
01. Signal Acquisition
Our system utilizes a multi-regional sensor array that monitors Google Trends signals, high-volume retail search clusters, and emerging social velocity via the Gemini Suite. We track assets across 40+ regions simultaneously.
02. The VN Velocity Decay Protocol
Unlike static news feeds, Velocity News utilizes a dynamic Live Momentum Engine. Each signal is subject to the VN Velocity Decay Protocol, which adjusts the institutional relevance of a trend in real-time.
- Signal Surge: Recently identified trends (T < 12h) receive a momentum boost, simulating high current growth rate. A surging signal is prioritized for terminal display regardless of absolute volume.
- Clinical Decay: After the initial breakout, every signal is subjected to a mathematical decay constant (~10% per 24 hours). This prevents stale data from occupying critical terminal space.
- Stabilized State: Once a trend normalizes or saturates, it enters a "Stabilized" state, indicated by the cooling protocol, signaling that the primary intelligence delta has been captured.
03. Verification & Grounding
Every report generated by Velocity Intel Arbitrage Terminal is grounded using search-integrated agents. We verify technical specifications, manufacturer data, and real-time availability to ensure that our intelligence reports offer genuine information gain over standard retail descriptions.
